I'm always blown away by all the little details the planners and couples think about for their big day. Emma and Collin's wedding of course, is no exception. From the mariachi band to the fans escort wall (made with our Fiesta Circular Fans!) This romantic boho wedding is stunning.

The couple celebrated their wedding at Nizuc Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico. We've been part of other weddings in Nizuc before, and is always a treat to see how each couple makes the venue it's own. After a year-long postponement, the pair had a multi-day celebration in the resort. As Emma said to The Knot:

"It was important to make it multiple days where we could spend quality time with our friends and family. We also decided from the beginning to keep our guest count small with 60 people. It was a tough decision but absolutely worth it. We wanted to incorporate a colorful fiesta night as our welcome reception to kick off the weekend and followed that up with a moody, boho modern ceremony and reception. We also asked our guests to dress according to the theme which made for some really amazing pictures.

The planning and design was by Grit and Grace and all the photos are by Abby Jiu Photography

All through the wedding you could see black, white, green and beige details. The perfect tones to go along with the neutral boho aesthetic.

Modern Floral Backdrop for Beach Wedding at Nizuc Resort and Spa in Mexico

"We wanted to give a nod to being at the beach but also make it more modern and dramatic. Using black and neutrals with the backdrop of Nizuc Resort was the perfect combination. The florals were very moody and boho with dried pampas and neutral tones. "

wedding seating board made of mexican woven fans

Mexican wedding favors that serve also as table seating? Yes, please! The amazing ladies of Grit and Grace came up with this fabulous idea. We engraved the woven fans with the guest's names, and on the back each fan had their table assignment. A cool and different way to make your seating chart, and as an added bonus it is a great backdrop for pics. Not to mention, that the palm fans came in handy for the next day poolside party!
"Following the ceremony, we had a mariachi band greet our guests at the end of the aisle and lead everyone to cocktail hour. We wanted the escort card wall to be personal but also a gift that everyone could enjoy so our planner found these beautiful fans made in Mexico engraved with everyone's names."
