I was looking through some of the weddings we were lucky to be part of last year and I had to share this one. Taylor & Tomas' beautiful destination wedding in Rosewood Mayakoba. Planned by the talented ladies of Lynden Lane Co. and photographed by Love Nancy Neil.
For this wedding, we engraved our Natural Fiesta Fans with the couple's monogram and wedding date. The monogram was by Yonder Design and could be found in the stationery and the custom linen napkins, among other things. One detail I loved is that the bikes outside each guest room were also customized with it. These little touches make all the difference.
Each Fiesta Fan is woven by hand, so no two are the same. The wedding was an all-white occasion, so the natural off white color of the palm matched the style perfectly.
The rehearsal dinner was held under a Ceiba, a tree that is sacred to the Mayans. At the right, you can see the place cards, made of this wood, and wreathed with white later lace. Each place card was engraved with the guest's name and accompanied by an explanation of the Ceiba importance.
The floral design was by La Musa de las Flores and Moni Junco. Simply stunning.
Summers in Riviera Maya can be hot and when building a ceremony for 200 you have to think of everything. To make sure all guests were fresh during the ceremony, a Fiesta Fan was placed on each chair. And the chairs were covered with custom linen covers from The Ark.
The bridesmaids wore white silk Stone Cold Fox.
And each one carried a monogrammed Fiesta Fan. Love it!
Yonder Design used a variety of materials in white with textures inspired by the venue. White marble for signage and white textured fabric for the gold foil menu. The place cards are white bone slabs delicately engraved.
The pampa grass is an excellent option for receptions on the beach. It looks beautiful and at the same time is sturdy and can handle the heat. The after-party was under a palapa next to the sea and the chairs were custom painted in creamy white to match perfectly with the look of the wedding.
Absolutely in love with all the care and detail put into this wedding! If you're looking for some inspiration here you can see more photos of Taylor and Tomas big day.
This wedding was also featured in Martha Stewart.
